宗旨
發揚中華文化是六藝語文學校創校的主要宗旨，學校名稱「六藝」出於周代官學傳統的「禮樂射御書數」，「六藝」是傳統中華文化的主要課目。不分年齡﹑種族﹑宗教﹐以「寓教於樂」發揚中華文化為宗旨﹐提供一個手腦並用﹐生動活潑的學習環境。 六藝語文學校成立於一九九四年是中半島密爾布瑞市（Millbrae）的第一所中文學校，自創校以來，秉持融合中西文化的精神，以英文為經，以中文當緯，交織出優秀的教學環境，在文化、語言及才藝各方面教授不同年齡層的學生，在灣區備受好評。 本校本著教育為百年樹人的精神，為努力培養下一代而精心設計了以「德智體群美」五育並重的課程，課程包括中文、珠心算、數學、繪畫、陶藝、民族舞蹈…等。 Millbrae密爾布瑞市與本校合作開辦暑期班和輔導班 本校「德智體群美」五育並重，課程包括中文、珠心算、數學、繪畫、陶藝、民族舞蹈…等豊富的課程內容與教學方法，頗獲得密爾布瑞市政府的一再表彰，並被邀請與市府合辦暑期班和輔導班。 市府與本校合作的暑期班和輔導班已連續多年，都是經過精心設計策劃的，使學生們都能在安全與歡樂的學習環境中，鍛鍊強健體魄，頗受家長歡迎。不僅增進學生之中文能力、也輔導英文、數學與才藝，還包括各種群體活動，如有趣俱樂部、各式運動訓練等團體娛樂活動。 Our Mission Promoting Chinese culture is the primary purpose of the Six Skills Culture and Language School. The school's name, "Six Skills," derives from the Zhou Dynasty's official academic tradition of "ritual, music, archery, charioteering, calligraphy, and mathematics." These six skills are the core subjects of traditional Chinese culture. Regardless of age, race, or religion, the school strives to promote Chinese culture through "education through entertainment," providing a lively and engaging learning environment that engages both the hands and the brain. Established in 1994, Six Skills Culture and Language School is the first Chinese school in Millbrae, Central Peninsula. Since its founding, it has upheld the spirit of integrating Chinese and Western cultures, weaving English as the core and Chinese as the weft to create an excellent teaching environment. It educates students of all ages in culture, language, and talent, and has received acclaim in the Bay Area. In line with the principle that education is about cultivating people for a century, the school has meticulously designed a curriculum that emphasizes the five essential qualities of "morality, intelligence, physical fitness, social skills, and aesthetics" to nurture the next generation. Courses include Chinese, abacus, mathematics, painting, pottery, and folk dance. The City of Millbrae collaborates with our school to offer summer school and tutoring programs. Our rich curriculum and teaching methods have been recognized by the City of Millbrae and have been invited to collaborate with the city on summer school and tutoring programs. The city has partnered with our school on these programs for many years. These programs are meticulously designed and provide students with a safe and enjoyable learning environment while strengthening their physical fitness, making them a popular choice among parents. These programs not only enhance students' Chinese language proficiency, but also provide English, mathematics, and talent development. They also include a variety of group activities, such as fun clubs, various sports training, and other group recreational activities. |
